Dealing with a Health Crisis

If your animal is going through a health crisis or some type of illness / event that requires handling they may not be use to, an animal communicator can explain all the steps involved.

Adding animal communication before a veterinary appointment can help so many pets and animals relax during their vet visits. Very often they just need to know some of the details of what to expect during vet visits and extended treatments at home or in hospices.

During an animal communicator session, your animal may tell us that he or she feels better with one type of treatment instead of another, but it is still between you and a your veterinarian as to how the animal should be treated. Animal communication can be complementary to a good veterinary care, proper nutrition, exercise, training and a loving care. (However, animal communication is not a substitute for qualified medical care.)

General Health Questions

We can ask general health questions, and even ask if specific areas hurt or feel a certain way. We can ask them how they had injured themselves or why they may be feeling a certain way. We can even help relay what your pets are feeling when it comes to oral and dental issues from their perspective.

In one case, we discovered in a very young dog he had leg pain during long walks. We did a Reiki Intuitive Scan that indicated an issue in a certain area. One month later the same dog was rushed into the vet for an unrelated emergency that required an X-ray, and the vet saw that the dog had fused vertebrate in the area that we indicated. That helped the vet and the client determine an appropriate course of treatment.

Intuitive Reiki Scans

We provide Reiki Scans (sometimes called "intuitive Reiki scans " or Reiki scanning) where we can scan your pet nose to tail with Reiki and report of areas of energy imbalances. (Note: Since Thom's passing, we no longer offer intuitive medical scans, since that was his area of skill. Jonquil offers Reiki scanning instead.)

Through a distance Reiki energy healing process, we can see and feel your pet in a 3D-like scanning process while they relax in the comfort of your home. There are no invasive procedures involved at all! The Reiki scan reveals any energy imbalances, and is included with the Reiki session. During the Reiki session, Reiki energy is sent to the areas of imbalance to help unbock those areas so that the body's natural, self-healing abilities can flow unimpeded.

What are energy imbalances? They are areas of stuck energy or impeded energy flow. Energy imbalances can indicate minor issues, like a headache, muscle pain, or even the focused energy of digestion after a meal. Reiki can help clear the energy imbalances, but not always. Energy imbalances can also indicate areas of more serious concern. Identifying these imbalances can be very helpful to open-minded health professionals when your pet is acting ill and other diagnosis methods and tools have drawn blanks or you simply wish to do a full "natural health" check-in for your pet. We can help with all forms of health related issues that range from rescue pets that may have suffered abuse, trauma, and Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms. Through animal communication we can gently work hand in hand with you and your pet so you can relay to health care providers to find out what your pet is feeling and experiencing. We can ask where, why and perhaps how an animal developed this pain, and how it's changing over time. We can also offer comfort and explain the processes they may have to go through, like an overnight stay at the vet, so that it's less scary for them.

Most of us have had to wrestle with our little furry wonders just to give them a pill or get your pet into a pet carrier. Animal communication can help make these things much easier.

Explaining to the Animal

By explaining the importance to the cats, dogs, birds, horses or any other pets of their medication, we can through animal communication can help make it less traumatic and much less scary to them. It helps them to know it's coming from a place of love and necessity, rather than punishment. We've give pills to our pets, so we know what the whole experience for the pet and the human can be like.
