At Animal Healings we're pet lovers just like you and have been our whole lives and the love for our pets has guided our destiny since childhood. When you love them as family members with your whole heart and soul, and they love you back, it's only natural to have a deep, profound sense of loss when they must leave you.

All of us find different ways in dealing with the pain losing a cherished cat, dog, bird, horse or any species of animal that has been close to our hearts. Some of us put aside that pain to try and let the age old saying "time heals" to make it fade away in order for us to maintain our lives. Somehow we must go to work, get our regular shopping done and do our regular routines to hold our families together, etc. To some degree that routine helps much like putting a band aid on a wound. However since this is a serious wound to our hearts and souls, a mere band aid really can't heal everything.

When you least expect it, a funny little reminder of that missing pet family member will sneak up on you, and there it is - the pain and sense of loss is still there. Often it's just as fresh as if it happened yesterday. For some of us, the pain can be buried in our subconscious and cause us to act out or behave in ways which are not usual for our behavioral history. That of course means we haven't processed our grief, just hidden it away. Sometimes that little seed in the back of our mind can even grow and affect other areas of our lives without us even being aware of it. Losing a pet can be just as traumatic as any other tragedy in our lives and can cause PTSD related symptoms caused not processing our grief. Animal Communication can be an amazing tool in helping process these unresolved issues, but should be conducted by a properly trained animal communication professional.

There's rarely never a question on whether we loved our precious companions enough, we devote every day to that quest. However, when it comes to end of life care many pet parents have that little sense of doubt in the back of their mind that can be painful, "Did we do the right thing in the end? Did we choose the right option at the right time to ease their pain?"

It's never easy to even think about critical care and end of life topics when it comes to our precious pet family members who devote their lives to making us happy and feeling loved. Through animal communication we can help make the whole process of end of life care, and the subsequent grieving, much less traumatic for your entire family. The ability for you to be able to know exactly what your pet is thinking and how they are feeling at these critical care moments, especially concerning pain levels can help all family members so much. It's important to remember that pets/animals nervous system work on a totally different tolerance level than humans and we should try our best not to impose our own fears and feelings upon them.

For your pet, you'll be able to provide things might not have known they were needing to make them more comfortable. We have had clients undergoing chemotherapy treatments and other very serious treatments who make requests that simply make themselves a little more comfortable during the treatments or sometimes the recuperative stages. Warmer blankets, a darker, quieter place to sleep, razing their water and food dishes higher to aid in swallowing, keeping other pets away, or having certain pets or family members close by. All things we request when we're not feeling well are the same things your pet may wish during their time of need and can be essential in keeping them comfortable.

It's important to realize (as any vet will tell you) that pets operate on a different pain threshold system than humans) so their comfort level during crisis care situations requires different attention than we do, and its certainly most true when considering end of life care. This is why it is so important to know your pet's wishes when it comes time for help in crossing over. You can work with a pet communicator in developing signals from your pet can give you when they have reached their limit and are just too tired or in too much pain. Easy to recognize things that your pet would not have done in an ordinary situation so that you don't have to waste any time in getting them help. Many vets now make house calls when it comes time and although it still hurts, it's less confusing and crazy than having to rush out of the house. You have some peaceful final moments at home and don't have to drive in traffic which can be dangerous when under emotional distress.

Sometimes, the communicator can find out before your pet leaves if they have plans on returning to you in the near or distant future. Many of us (and at Animal Healings we include ourselves as some of the most lucky pet parents on Earth) that have wonderful stories of pets which have bonded with us for our whole lives that return to our sides over and over. They complete numerous missions of protecting and loving us through all of our many stages of life's journeys.

When it's time, help transitioning

As it becomes time for your pet to transition from this lifetime and journey into a new their destination, we can help facilitate the process for both of you. Make no mistake, it's never easy for any of us, having gone through the process with our own pets in the last few years we are completely sensitive to your needs.. We can ease the fears and anxieties and help your pets find their way through a peaceful journey and what can become a beautiful process as they venture on to the next realm.

You can also speak with your after they have crossed over to find out how they are doing and what plans they may have (or if their plans have changed.)

The Return Journey

Sometimes they have missions / journeys they must accomplish and may not be able to return to us but watch over us and protect us. However if they do plan to return (reincarnation), we of course can fully help with all aspects of the return journey. We can help with find out their timing, location and usually even breed/color of choice

Through a communicator you may learn they have already returned and that they are the pet right beside you, just like you were already suspecting!
